Remnants of Life

by SethM   May 5, 2006

Fading to black
Blood drips more and more
Consciousness at a lack
Only sound be pitter-patter on the floor
Life flashing
Remnants of life commence burn

Time slows to still
This deed of Devil on your sleeve
Screams from inside be so shrill
Time seems your soul not to feed
Life flashing
Remnants of life commence burn

Mind races
Adrenaline giving way to pain
Orange burning faces
This deed now seems in vain
Life flashing
Remnants of life commence burn

Deep agony fills up
The rain now stops and silence
Demons you cannot sup
You find way to a great defiance

Life now to speed
Memories lost
Caught in trammel
Pulled down to doom

An excellent poem, and effictively approached. You write with tremendous effort and embed the atmospheric language and emotive words well within your poem. An engaging piece, well done. =)

    Much love and God bless,
    Fallen.
