To Henry Maslowiez

by TheSickness   May 6, 2006

Will I see tomorrow?
The silence of night?
The joy of the day?
This terrible fright

I hold in my heart
My father I assume
Who left me for dead
Or had hoped Id pursue
The freedom I long for right now

I stay in the dark
No more shall I mark
The time in the hours, minutes, or days
But by moments in which the ways
Of these people who torment us so

Dear reader remember
My heart is my ember
Of life that will hold
A new day
A new night

We shall be lost but never forgotten
But never remembered
For remembering tells me
That you forgot the lost
We'll never remember
We are
