Be My Wife

by David R Merry   May 6, 2006

We sat beside the castle of Leeds
In the beautiful County of Kent
A fragrant aroma filled the air?
Apple blossom, the orchards scent

We took a walk to find a view
The sun was hot, the sky was blue
Saw couples walk hand in hand
I hoped you'd want me for your man

I saw you sat beside the moat
For a second you took my breath
I knew id want you for my own
I love you girl, please let me close?

Id want to talk with you all night
Kiss and cuddle until morning light
Id promise you a happy life
Take this ring, please be my wife?

We are in love and thats enough
You hold my heart don't set me free
We`ll share a long and happy life
Starting today: June 7th 1983
