Fight on the Snowy Slope

by PS   May 6, 2006

Standing at the peak of the mountain
staring down at your rebeling domain
heat covering your body spreading
from the core to the frozen fingers

perfect precipitation falling from the sky
snow is white hot in the blinding sun
poised and ready to attack the enemy
and to clear the zone of thought.

a single hop and i am flying down
and faster and faster, the battle wind
fighting with the earmuffs and goggles
oh. the box. jump. grind and land

the packed snow underneath the board
feet locked in a neverending descent
twisting and turning. fighting and warring,
Down. and enemy is out.

slope levels, the battle is won.
and now to lift to win the war
