On that day I will see my parents proud for
they have helped me get there and showed
me what I should do.
On that day I will see my peers leaving
Behind the past and looking into the
future.
On that day I will no longer be a child
but a grown person. I will have had the
chance to grow and learn from my
mistakes. But to also know that
learning never stops.
On that day my teachers will be throwing
a party for they have shown me what they must
and now I can stand on own two feet with
out them.
On that day I will be exiting an old life and
entering a new one.
On that that day I will say good bye
to all my old friends and class mates and say
hello to a new group of friends and new
people.
On that day I can say that I earned this and that
I am ready to say good bye to my school. For
I am a senior and I am ready to graduate and
never look back. I am ready to walk down and
receive that paper. For I have been waiting
for this day.
