We wait for our first day of school so we
can see our new teacher and new classmates.
to see the last day of summer and a new year
of learning and fun.
we wait to see who we are going to be. What
we want to be and who we are going be like.
We know we are different and must wait to
see what that difference is.
we wait for our lives to stop so we can
relax but as we are waiting we realize these
days are short and we must not waste them
for they will never be ours again.
we wait for the day our first child will be
born. we want to be parents and can not wait
but must. Then after they are we learn to
wait for them to be ready for life as well.
We wait for our loved ones to come to that
nursing home. So we can see our children,
grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
We wait for god to look into his book and
say welcome home. We have been waiting for
you.
