The sun is like a desert,
Hot, shiny, and mysterious.
The moon is like a dessert,
Quiet, cold, and gentle

The sun is burning,
And anxious to be heard.
The sun is as noisy as
The beeping of hospital machines.

The moon is scared,
And nervous about life.
The moon is as silent as
A flutter of butterfly wings.

My heart begs for the sun,
But knows the moon holds my secrets.
