The seconds turn to minutes,
the minutes into hours,
the hours are now days,
days that became months.
Lonely months that have gone by,
since you last left me here.
You left me so alone and scared,
with no hope of an escape.
I have tried for months now to get out
failing every time.
How I would like to have you near,
if only for a second.
Have that second for a minute,
from a minute to an hour.
Hopefully that hour will soon become a day.
A day that lasts for months,
until those months have been a year.
At the end of this long year,
we will be back where we belong.
