She Haunts

by CareBear   May 13, 2006

This Girl You Tortured
You kept her alive
Living on a hope
As you feed her the same old lies

She lived each day in torment
As you assured her it was true
Her prized possession from you
But never truely hers

She lived entangled in your lies
As she clung to a broken promise
she lived in your darkness
Clothed in your tattered dress

Each ripped embedded in her
Just another hit
Each scar a frozen moment
That one could never bear

You laugh taunts her
Another reason for goodbye
Yet you still keep her here
For this power you can\'t resist

She is just another ghost
Just a forgotten memory in your mind
You still play with her
You get inside her mind

You tear away at her soul
And steal her every breath
She is nothing of importance
Just another in your grip

Your nails pierce her flesh
As he heart begins to cry
there is not much more of her left
Still you keep her here alive

You feed her with your lies
You love her oh so much
But she means nothing
And now she sees the truth

You watch her as she falls
Unable to stop her plans
She is leaving you tonight
And its your memory now she haunts.
