Stolen. Kissed.

by Libby   May 14, 2006

Searching those fallen eyes,
My heart is struggling to see,
Any truth behind these lies
Or what you may really be.

It splits beneath my skin
As your words spill from those lips
Used, 2nd hand, stolen
What they became. Kissed

I cannot watch my mind in images
As they split it further from whole
Only listen to my silly reasoning
In which you still manage to control.

Your finger touches my cheek
And my tears don’t seem to care
Rolling down they pass you
Followed by your stare

You cannot make your lips new
Nor stop these images I keep
You cant hold my tears inside
As when they start, forever they will seep.

Awsome poem, I thought it was very smooth. It flowed and it was sad in a way. It is an awsome poem. Keep up the great work. Your Friend- Aaron
