Falling Apart

Nothing is going right
Everything's fading away
My life is falling apart
I straggle in dismay

Once I was sure
Of my life and where it was going
Now I walk around in shadows
Not really knowing

Don't follow my lead
I'm not going anywhere
Torn in half, piece by piece
Far too broken for repair

I trusted you'd be there
But you weren't, you never were
You made me a promise that you couldn't keep
My life is now a blur

You were the biggest part of my life
Breaking your word, you let me fall
I don't think your word was ever true
Even when I needed you, you never answered my call

Life has lost its meaning
I no longer wish to be here
I'm constantly haunted by the memory
When you'd whisper sweet words in my ear

Those days are gone
I never really believed they were true
My life has fallen apart
All because I believed in you

    Ah, and i stumble upon yet another noteworthy poem of yours.

    You are a gifted writer, the way you portray your thoughts and experiences has a certain effect that absorbs you into the poem.
    There is also room for ambiguous interpretations of your work.
