Loss of a Teacher

by Cat   May 16, 2006

So many words left unspoken
So many tears shed and broken
He was our teacher, our friend, distant "family member"
In our thoughts, he'll be remembered

He's helped us through tough times
Laughed with us through fun times
He helped dry our eyes
If we cried
He's helped us find our voice
Make decisions, make a choice

He's moved on now, passed away
But in our hearts, he'll always stay
It's our time to say goodbye
To our mentor, our guide,
Mr. Reince, 6th grade history teacher, a great guy.

Although I didn't feel very attatched to him, he was a really cool teacher. It's not the same since he's passed away, almost surreal. As if this were all a horrible dream. But no, it's real, and we will never see him walk through the halls of the 100 building, ever, again.
