I spend the day at school
wishing i could be home
wishing that it was 7pm
knowing that once the TV was on
and knowing that my dad is there by my side
MSG is on TV
when it hits 7 pm the lights are off
the jerseys are on
everyone is silent until the puck is dropped
when the first goal is scored
people scream and shout
me on the other hand
is watching the Buffalo Sabres win
hopefully they will go all the way
and hopefully they will bring Lord Stanley's CUP home.
