Colour

by Strange Angel   May 16, 2006

Colourful life bursting forth
Proclaiming life in its entirety
Fulfilling and satisfying
Golden, vermillion, aqua-marine
Flowers spreading through grassy meadows
Blue sky as glassy as your eyes
Feel the sun burn your back
Forming freckles on your summer skin
Dandelions, pansy, primrose, daisy
Spring colour breaking through
Bleak winter's fragile glaze
