When You Come Home

Thinking about it make me cold
As my thoughts begin to unfold
I know-soon you will be gone,
I'll be alone come every dawn.

At night you can peacefully sleep
Because I made a promise I'll keep
I know everyday I'll cry
Because of the day you'll say good-bye.

These weeks will be a fight
So before you leave hold me tight
Hold my hand but don't let go,
I need you to know.

I want you to stay,
I'm not sure I can watch you drive away.
I'll hurt so bad,
When you come home, I'll no longer be sad.

I'll be in so deep,
There will be night I won't sleep.
It will be OK the day,
You come home from being away.
