Baby Girl

by gasping for air   May 17, 2006

Your daddy may not want you,
He may not even care,
But mommy's here to stay,
With all the love he won't give.
Some people may say mean things,
Nasty words, give dirty looks,
But all of it is worth dealing with,
If I am the one who is your mommy.

I don't know what your daddy will do,
Or how he'll feel towards you,
But I know my love for you will never faulter,
I'll never hurt you the way he does.
You are my life, Baby Girl,
I would die to give you life,
Your are my world, Baby Girl,
It's me and you, now and always.
