Torture of another kind

by Allison   May 17, 2006

I seem to be the only one
who stays in dark away from sun
i hide my face and hide my pain
i pretend to smile though i strain
and I'm too weak to loose you now
not strong enough to watch you drown not sane enough to love myself not honest enough i blame someone else. And can you hear my thoughts,my mind? NO
you don't see what i feel inside
you don't hear my silent cries
this is torture of another kind

    I understand
    Totally
    and 100%
How you feel with "I hide my face and hide my pain
I pretend to smile though i strain".

And if this is any consolation

And even though I'm a stranger

    I'm always here.
