Wrong Heart...

I didn't even know her for that long,
yet I have feelings for her now and their so strong.
I never saw her like the way I do now,
but its too late since now she is moving to another town.
Now that I look back and remember all the good times we shared,
I now realized that I really did care.

I should have given her a chance to be in my heart,
but my mind was focused on the other which I now see wasn't so smart.
She told me that she liked me, but at the time I really didn't care.
But I should have given her a chance just to be fair.
We could have been happy together and become more than just friends,
but since she is moving, just friends is what we're going to be in the end.

Why do these feelings for her come out so late,
if they had come sooner I could have asked her out on a date.
Things could have turned out better then the way they came out,
We could have been in love with each other and never have any doubts.
I promise to always remember her in my heart,
even if I get married to someone else, the memories of her will never be torn apart...
