Lost

I hate feeling like this
feeling like i have lost everything in the world
when yet i have only lost you
thats when i pray to the lord

i pray that you come back to me
that we can start all over
but then i come back to reality
and pull my head from beneath the cover

now every time i see you
i pretend everything is fine
but deep down i know its not
i just wish i had a sign

a sign to let me know that everything will be ok
a sign to help me let go
a sign that wont let me turn back
but this i have to know

why did you do this to me
how could you lead me on
i really wanted to be with you
but now its too late your gone.
