Daydreaming

by Ashley   May 19, 2006

There is no telling
Where my mind will go.
When I'm bored,
Who knows what thoughts will flow?

I am in Australia,
Witnessing the amazing sunset,
Watching the wildlife,
About my crappy life, I do forget.

I'm in Mexico, livin that dream
That I had that one time.
Drinkin tequila with no worries,
Being 18, sucking my lime.

I'm finally giving my one true enemy
The ass-kicking she deserves.
The things she says to me,
She really gets on my nerves.

I'm hangin with my bestest friends.
Nothing can ruin this good mood.
Cassie just said something stupid,
And I laugh at the way she says dude.

I'm in space, and like in that one commercial,
I just drank a Red Bull and then left the shuttle.
I'm floating around, and can you see the wings?
I wish I could really do this, I won't be subtle.

I'm the best singer in the world,
I am performing on American Idol.
Another dream: Simon just called me a dork,
This moment, I wish would remain idle.

I am sitting with my true love,
We are saying "I love you" for the first time.
He is holding my hand,
For him, I would commit any crime.

Then my attention snaps back to reality.
Here I am, still sitting in this boring classroom.
I look out the window, trying to regain focus,
My mind starts to leave again, this time, I'm going zoom, zoom, zoom.
