I look at the painting on the wall
And the memories come rushing in...
Your standing there
In all your tragic radiance
I'm giving you the same old glare
Of adoring, threatening envy
You think I don't see her standing behind you
You don't know the jealousy that torments me
I know I don't compare
Your smiles with your lies

Your painting makes my eyes blur with tears
How can I fight back the feeling thats coming
The hope, pain, tears... the regret
The tragedy of when we met
The happiness I felt then...
The hapiness now broken
