You Make Me Proud

Little sister
Have you ever noticed
That I'm so proud of you?
I remember when you were just a little baby
I would always sing your favorite lullaby
So you would fall asleep
When I taught you how to read
I thought I couldn't do it
But I shouldn't have any doubts
Because you wouldn't ever let me down
You would always find a way
To make me proud of you
When we would talk about boys
You would always be disgusted
Now you're all grown up
And all you talk about are the guys
Twelve years have gone by already
Many fights, many laughs, many x's and o's
Only two years apart
But it's like we're the same age
The best of friends forever
My sister you make me proud
Whenever I look at you
I can see a part of you
That's so much like me
I love you my sister
I'm here for you forever and for always
Just keep on doing what you do
You make me proud
To be your older sister
