In her hand

by Stazifer Stazington   May 19, 2006

In her hand
the piece of paper
lies a secret
filled with torture

her husband died
and her kids
shes left alone
with her sin

she cannot cry
she cannot sleep
she will not talk
she will not eat

she'd rather die
then live alone
tucked inside safely
in her home

people come
to try and cheer her
she will not listen
deaths become her

she slowly walks them
out the door
and waits for a time
that her heart can mourn

its over now
she couldnt take it
she had a heart
but their kind words broke it

so now here she is
in her casket
and im wondering why
she had to do it

this was a assignment in english class, hope ya like it! please rate and comment i return favors!
