Dear Mr. Anderson,

by Stazifer Stazington   Jan 7, 2010

Dear Mr. Anderson,

I'm writing you this letter to
show you who I am,
because you were always kind to me
and always gave a damn.

As I walk these alleyways
with grime and dust filled eyes,
I never think about your face,
or the way you stroked my thighs.

I go about the daily grind
soul and heart tightly bound,
and sweep away the pain and ache
I feel when you're around.

You live so many years away,
you're words seem lost in static.
Every so often, I dream of you,
but the meanings are enigmatic.

My dear Mr. Anderson,
I'm scared but I must say goodbye.
Don't worry about me, I'll be good and safe.
And please, don't ask me why.

Definitely and enigmatic poem ha! ha! That has great flow and good meter enjoyable and makes you wonder what it is all about so it is enigmatic.

I really liked this poem because, like the other gal said, it left me with more questions than answers. It was def unique and it gave me a sense of mystery. I really liked the way you started off with "dear Mr. Anderson." That got my attention that this note is for him. lol

^^Excellent closing. I loved the wording in it. I'm not quite sure why. It was just the perfect ending and it flowed together perfectly, as well.

Overall, this was a really great poem. I thought it was so different and unlike anything I've ever read. I'm very glad I read it! You're very talented :)
