Six Days of Rain

by Lynn Anderson   May 19, 2006

Confusion filled my mind, to think of you for so many hours. Wasting away to take up the time, lots of things pass me by. I hate to watch myself be overpowered, over-rated, by my witness, that he contemplated.

Please forgive me for my wonder. Nothing against your sweetness. When I'm without you all I hear is thunder. I just need to come out from under my shell. To give you my love that someone left behind. Words can speak many things, my love was lost somewhere in time.

The sun came out today, at the moment I thought of you. Shone right my way. Made my eyes wider, to open up to you. Its been raining for six days, I was almost out of hope, because my eyes wouldn't shine. Only one moment at a time.
