Colors

We are only colors
White,blue,orange or pink
colorful lights are our souls.
Look at me
you may see dark, Mayan skin
brown wavy hair
sweet curved eyes
but thats not me.
This light, this color
it is my SOUL
it is ME.
By any other appearance
any other color skin or hair
by any other name
or from any other race
the light inside would shine the same.
No matter what clothes cover up
this shell that protects my soul
i remain ME,
and you remain YOU.
