In the darkness

She cries in the darkness
No one to hear.
All she feels is sadness
For her mother so dear.
She cries out the heartache,
She cries out her fears,
She cries for her future
Till theres no more tears
When darkness comes calling
Her world falls apart!
Shes all alone and falling,
Who can mend her broken heart?
Its been seven years now
But the pain still feels fresh.
Her life left in ruins
Why keep drawing breath?
Shes got no one to talk to
About her hopes and her fears
So why keep on living,
For so many years?
But soon daylight shines in
She must force her pain down
And face a new day
Till in the darkness she drowns!
