Darkness

by Kim   May 23, 2006

The sun is gone, the hour late
Night comes slowly 'round the bend
She masks your eyes, she seals your fate
It is the beginning of the end
In her shadow, monsters hide
There horror lurks, and fear looms near
Her phantoms skulk and serpents glide
While demons try and hide the fear
She presses close, makes quiet dense
It echoes loudly in your ears
Her howl pierces deadly silence
She releases all your fears
And now, remember, little children
That darkness is your friend
