David left me heartbroken
at 12:30 today
said it wasn't working out
that friends he wanted to stay

This hurtful game
he decided to play
broke my heart
each and every way

He said it was over
cause it didn't feel right
then why did he say
"I love you" just the other night

On the 23ed
he told me that
everything was alright
as he held me so tight

He said he loved me
and that he was mine
that I'd never lose him
but that was all a lie

so now all I do
is lay here and cry
only wishing
to die as I whisper . . . "goodbye"
