Shattered September Day

On that September day
my heart was shattered
in every which way
my hopes and dreams
just thrown away
by whom i loved
each and every day
I begged and pleaded to know why
but only silence fell from the sky
his friend stared me in the eye
then i had to ask him "Why?"
he gave me a reply
"lets just say friends he wanted to stay"
that reply made me want to die
as tears fell from my eyes
hoping all his words were lies
wanting someone by my side
yet I shut everyone out of my life
and gave my reply
"I want to Die"
