A Casted Spell

by Judy   May 23, 2006

Time, words, and a careless mind
Can cast the spell that I’m behind
A spell of only the color blue
Cause me sorrow because of you

It creeps, it lure, and easily hold
My stage of grief from being told
It also strikes and it also steels
The joy and smile I long to feel

Why won’t this spell just go away?
It just keeps coming and craves to stay
I want my eyes and days to clear
But you were the one that put it here

I can’t remove it or take it apart
Only the one who valued my heart
I doubtfully hope that you can tell
You were the one who casted my spell.
