Overdose...

The pills in her hand, that look on her face
she wants to flee from this place
from the people that have caused her so much pain
the people who abused her again and again
away from hurt and towards relief
away from doubt and towards belief
far away from hate and fear
she will leave without a tear
not even once does she hesitate
as this teenage girl decides her fate
with a few pills left in her and a look of peace on her face
she is slowly leaving this place
as she swallows the rest one by one
she stops and thinks"what have i done?"
but it's too late for help;she's slipping away
she will never again see the light of day
with an empty pill bottle in her hand and regret all over her face
this teenage girl with a broken heart has forever left this place
