Holding My Heart

To think that I'll never see you again,
makes the sadness grow deep within.
And you'll never know,
because I wont let it show.

I worry about you everyday.
" I miss you. " is all I want to say.
But you'll never hear that said.
And you'll never see my wrist pour red.

I miss your smile,
I miss your eyes.
But you'll never know that,
or see the tears I cry.

I miss your company,
I miss your jokes.
But next time I see you,
I'll tell you to choke--.

I guess thats how these things go
thats how this teenage war is won.
Becase we cant go back
and erase the things that we've done.

So I smile and shrug it off.
Althought it tears me apart.
I wont ever let you know
Your still holding my fragile heart.
