Blade Of Destiny

by Megann Lee   May 30, 2006

Desperation of gazing dreams.
Gaining fears in the darkening skies.
Of the untold lies the rest behind her sorry eyes.

Extreme hate that builds off the untold stories.
That her bleeding lips hold..
Deep within her corrupted mind.

Scarlet rain drops that fall from up high.
Seeping their sorrow into the new floor.
A blade masked with her life long Destiny.

No way to let her sorry blue eyes drop.
Just a blade telling her entire life's lies.
While tracing out it's Destiny.

Blood covering her pale skin.
Obviously her destiny has been chosen.
As the blade hits the floor.

A lifeless child.
Who should have spoke.
Before the Blade Of Destiny; Struck her down.

Loved the ending in this poem. Really, wow. I also liked how you refered to tears as scarlet rain drops falling from in the sky, very different and great. This was again a really good poem. The end. I loved it. Keep it up!! 5/5

Woh spooky poem. It is very deep and the language is so powerful. But sorry if I'm just being stupid but I really don't understand this line:

Of the untold lies the rest behind her sorry eyes.

Apart from that I like it, take care

Ok wow again! It was quite the intense poem, I find. It's just the simplicity that makes it so.....so.....I don't know what! It was just great! Keep on penning master!
