A Stranger Within

by Anthony Vasconez   May 31, 2006

As we walk along together,
I see love within the eye,
My eyes then become all glossy,
As if I'm going to cry,

These tears shed are far from sadness,
And also far from life's pain,
so when a tear starts shedding,
It hinds its beauty remains,

But the day I get to hold you,
Is the day I find my fait,
just to know you're here with me,
And not a dream I awake,

But as my mind wants to ponder,
On what about you that I like,
Especially since not meeting,
But yet the feeling seem right,

I feel the warmth of your beauty,
As a spark flares in your eye,
As if I'm watching fireworks,
Like it's the forth of July,

I lay me down to sleep each night,
To the sweet sound of your voice,
And each morning I do awake,
I show nothing but rejoice.

But on the day of arrival,
I proceed to pick you up,
My heart then starts to skip a beat,
As then the plane just pulls up.

As then I proceed to meet you,
As you start to walk my way,
I then will want to hold you,
If forever you will stay.

Now if this is God's Connection,
And the feelings hold on truth,
I will plan on being happy,
As long as it is with you.
