Threat

by Katie   May 31, 2006

Her family is falling apart right before her eyes
She thinks about it as she sits up on her bed and cries
She wears sunglasses inside, that way she can hide
The lies and problems she has back home
How she constantly feels all alone
She listens as they scream and yell
Watches as her life becomes a living hell
They swing, they punch, they curse, they threat
Horrible memories shell never forget
The tears dry, the bruises heal
But the thoughts of you are still real
Before she sleeps she looks at the sky,
And asks herself, why?
