Emotions Twist

by mookoo   Jun 1, 2006

Words catching in my swollen throat
your egotistical as you brag and gloat
rage boiling and my temple throbbing
your words wash me leaving a sting

I could rage rashly but I sit silently
your intentions left but a mystery
why do I suddenly hate you so
youâ??ve done nothing to entice a row

why do I feel a precedent around you
like you expect me to be someone new
but at times I concur these emotions
running as far as the depths of the ocean

your soft eyes whispering quietly to me
actions so sweet performed unreasonably
but after moments pass and we talk again
youâ??re apathetic, unconcerned weâ??ll pretend

youâ??re a bastard echoing among all
as we talk walking down the hall
as emotions twist and confusion spreads
sewn together with ever-changing threads
