Garden Of Hell

by Megann Lee   Jun 1, 2006

She stands alone, her wings out spread in the Garden Of Hell.
Her Pale Eyes Locked upon just one place.
Staring calmly upwards, at his face.

With frozen tears, they have left no trace.
She opens her mouth, a gust of wind blowing by
As she speaks the words that are oh so sweet.

"Do you dare help my ungratefulness?
Do you dare, release me from this home, I've lived in for so long?
And Do You dare, to even Care?"

As she stands, Silently, Pondering upon the words she's spoken.
The Golden Halo, which once rest neatly upon her head.
Slowly begins to crumble, showering her body with ash.

As the sky fades from blue, to a brilliant red.
A clasp out lighting zig-zags across, cracking loudly once it's crossed.
Her body jumping slightly after, the once frozen tear sliding down her cheek.

As the tear falls, and the sky beings to bleed down on her.
She keeps a smile, and begins to speak.
Those words that are so tender and sweet.

"Do I take this as a No?
Have I screwed up Dearly?
And Why, Why is this hell taking over me?"

Her body now dripping, with the blood that was shed.
The words she spoke, echo through her mind.
And with a loud shrieking scream, these words are soon to follow:

"Your my little puppet now my dear.
For I own your body, and your soul.
I am the Devil And This Is My Garden Of Hell You See?"

As the sky darkens, and the blood falls faster from the sky.
She begins to cry, deafening screams for help.
Her wings, once brilliantly white, now stained a lovely Scarlet.

"My Lovely Child, Need I remind You?
No one can hear your pathetic Little Screams.
For Yet..I must tell you.. I am the Devil And This Is My Garden You See?"

As the lighting spirals down wards, aiming for her beautiful brown hair.
A loud scream, masks the air momentarily.
And When it's done, a body now rests in a pool of fallen blood.

"My Child..I warned you.
Yes I did. I told you once, and I've told you Twice, Must I repeat?
I told you..I am the Devil and This Is My Garden Of Hell You See"

With the clearing skies, and the drying lands.
There on the floor, rests a beautiful girl.
Dead as she can be, face down in a pool of Blood.

Her Wings folding down, covering herself slowly.
Her ever lasting words, blowing throughout the Evil Garden.
A Place, That only the Devil can occupy..

"Here I stood, grinning wide, with smiles that shall never fade.
My words so sweet and soft, almost kind enough to break the Evilest of hearts.
For it was not enough, to break the Curse, The Curse Of The Garden Of Hell!"

This Poem Is Extremely Unique.. Great But Not Excellent. I Think It Could Have Been A Little Bit More Detailed. I Mean, If It's Going To Be Long, You Might As Well Have The Reader Feel As If They Are There, Witnessing It. I Couldn't Really Picture The Surroundings That Well, Or See The Devil In My Mind.

    4/5 Just The Same.
