What I Fear The Most

by Matthew A.   Jun 1, 2006

There are many things in life that I really do fear,
like a person driving when they had a little to much beer.
But all those fears are nothing compared to the fear I'm scared of the most,
every time I think of it, I just want to go walk away on the coast.

The sound of Thunder is something that gives me a little chill,
but that is not the thing that makes me need to take some pills.
Hearing a gun shot out in the distance of the street,
is still not the fear that I'm always afraid to meet.
Walking in the dark with nothing to light up my path,
is still nothing compared to the thing that always makes me hide in the bath.
Seeing my report card when I know that I have failed,
is still not the thing that makes my face turn the lightest pale.

There are so many things in this world that make me hide in fear,
but the one thing of truly afraid of always makes me cry up a little tear.
The one true thing that I'm truly afraid of the most,
is the thought of me losing her after now since we are getting so close...
