You Were

by CoLliN   Jun 1, 2006

You were

The oxygen I needed to breathe

The dentist that took care of my teeth

The mother that always dressed me neat

The bread that was good for me ……….whole wheat….

You were

The word I would look for to describe everything good about me

The love I had that made me live in liberty city

The psychiatrist to my psycho mind

The sugar that sweetened my tea

You were, is past tense, you were

The limit breaker that made me break my limit

The paper that helped me cleaned up my vomit

The poison I had…I used you for my tonic

You were

The remedy

My referee

My comedy

The reason I see

You are

The sore in my throat

The constipation to my note

The evil within me

The bug within my tea

The reason I can’t pea

The shit in my toilet

The child that I spoilet

The Aids in my body

The reason why I love nobody

Yep…..you were, are, what will you be???
