Love Unseen

You catch me staring at you
but miss the look on my face
there is nothing i wouldnt do
for your loving embrace

but i cant let anyone know
that this is how i feel
i must put on this show
my thoughts i must conceal

locked in tight as a drum
pounding on my mind
they make me so glum
the feelings that i bind

cuz supposedly youre taken
by one of my close friends
but you say shes mistaken
how long before this ends

she is becoming easy to hate
with her lies and dyed red hair
she says you are her soul mate
you should have an affair

you said you really liked me
but what exactly does that mean
you simply want to lay me
or is there love unseen

    Wow.. this was very powerful! i loved the last stanza, it just blew me away! this shows how confused, jealous, and sad you are.. and i bet lodes of people can relate! good rhymes, flow, and descriptions! 5/5
