Cause You Stood Here With Me

by Scaleeski   Jun 6, 2006

Your thoughts, morals, and actions sicken me
A life solely controlled by utter hypocrisy
Coming together to form a life so wasteful
Making every single kiss so distasteful

The thought of you still burdens my mind
As I grow angry each and every time
There was a moment when forgiveness overcame
Yet, why forgive when you still hold the blame

Your mind is stuck and your words mean war
Someday someone will beat you to the core
You called me a burden, a hindrance to life
And as you read your angry will create strife

Are you not allowed to get close to someone?
Clearly, I'm wrong because with her you are not done
Your words seem to be bullcrap all along
If not then prove me the hell wrong

Now this news of him has caught my eye
And the thought of your unmistakable lie
"I'm going to wait until I find the one"
Your hypocrisy would be a sin to some

I still fear the day we will talk again
Because both of us have grown a lot since then
I'll still tell you that you were wrong
Then you'll try to explain how I ended this song

Because it so god damn easy to give the blame
That has always been the name of our game
It's not your words that are wrong; it's your heart and dreams
Of all I've tried to show you, you've forgotten it seems.

Don't be so hostile to the next person in line
Just relax and think of things so genuine
I'll wait for my day of closure, pain, and goodbyes
But, I think youre too afraid to see me eye to eye.
