So We Cry

by Kayd   Jun 6, 2006

Sometimes on the days;
when it's gloomy, dark, and cold;
a single thought reads quite clear
different but very bold.

We can't always smile,
we can't always frown,
can't always sit around
or sigh when feeling down.

Some turn to quiet reading,
others to t.v.
a few walk if off
others write what they see.

However there are the times,
expressions cannot show,
withered agony rips loose,
in one final blow.

Tears of sadness stain,
flowing free and true,
unconfined they are,
diving into the blue.

And since we can't always laugh,
and we can't always sigh,
agony must turn loose,
and so we cry.
