Cutting Through,Bleeding Out

Numb from all the pain,
And once again I'm lying here helpless,
Blood draining from my veins,
But one pull of this trigger,
And I'll no longer be held back with these chains.

Promised myself I wouldn't play this role once more,
Never again will I lay helpless on the floor.
All these lies and deceit, I'd rather die,
I hear it's peaceful i heaven...Goodbye.

Take this blade,
So many times that I've hoped and prayed,
But now I'll dig it in and push down hard,
Pull it across, blood rushing out, forever scarred,
Your troubles disappearing in a puddle of red,
This time, you've succeeded in ending all your dread.
