Comfort

by Alexis   Jun 7, 2006

Wake up and slip it on,
A mask no one can see through.
No one thought or ever knew,
That one day I'll soon be gone.

Today reality suddenly hits you hard,
Once again you had high hopes and let down your guard,
Thought you had finally hit rock bottom,
But you're not even close,
More hell is waiting for you so you better higher your dose.

Somehow you gota make it past it all,
Gotta find someone to depend on, to soften your fall.
Everyone's disappeared and you crave comfort,
Comfort of your skin splitting open with the touch of a blade,
Letting all your sorrows out, no longer afraid.
