Deadliest Sin

I slit my wrist and watch them bleed
feeling all the pain from my need
Looking at the dripping blood
my emotions like a flood
Washed over and away
any pain that wished to stay
Now gone all around
I slip and hit the ground
The devil walks in
says that is the deadliest sin
I can not let you be forgiven
For only the pure and righteous go to heaven
And you my friend have fell
Right out of heaven and into hell
My words start to slow
And yet I feel as though
I am not leaving earth, But only
Making my stay longer and more lonely
No one shall touch my soul within
