Time Laps

by Steph   Jun 7, 2006

The world it spins so fast and it just won't slow down
Like a twirling kite that's stuck so far from ground
Trying to catch a break here this life has just begun
We're living for the absence in the cool air night sun

And all the while we're thinking and dreaming of what ifs
It's tough to see the life we've passed what we may have missed
But still we're being pressed on by time it's like a train
An unmindful hawker that solely moves ahead in this game

Life goes on we'll keep moving though it's surely unpredictable
We'll have loves and loses and through it all we may rise or fumble
Like water flows calmly down a rocky river these are our days
We're sent through hoops but it's all a scam to help us find our way

Which came first the music or the misery we're all sucked in
To everything we've never known, just stop we can't win
Not like this it's a never ending cycle of life and its deathwish lies
Unless we change it unless we dream unless we reach up high

We're all making the biggest scene trying to be the biggest seen
Lets just live for us not them its not long before we're with green
Part of the earth we came from, its not far so live nows the time
Are we going up before we go down or just getting lost in the line
