A blue moon shines upon her,
Casting a shadow on her face,

As she walks amongst her past,
A blue moon illuminates a twinkle in her eye,

She is her blue moon,
A mother about to let go,
She is her guiding light,
She helps her until the end of her act in her daughters life show.

We all have our blue moons,
A moon of unconditional love,
One must embrace our blue moon,
For they are our gifts from up above.

It may seem like the clouds are covering our blue moon,
But that only brings the gift of rain,

But it is still there giving you room to gain.
