Consciousness

In lapses of judgement, are we bound by fate?
in manipulative hands, sectioned as bait
do our actions relay our opinions and thoughts
as identity and consciousness are to be sought

are really but pawns laid in a determined path
or choosing our way in serenity and wrath
in a moment of philosophy chosen at will
can we even bare to give reasoning to kill

questions and inspiration are realization
slowly segmented out by order and ration
are we but a character breathed in with life
and is love sanctified of husband and wife

living in a smog of humanity is there choice
amidst the roar, millions of striving voices
is it but a awareness state of visual mind
or is there something we are destined to find?
