Cutting

Seeing the blood,
bright red,
dripping down my wrist.
Deep then deeper,
the vein appears
You then know you've gone too far.
You say you will stop,
But you never do
Disapoints people,
including you.
All thats left,
are the scars that remain
Even though there
was no pain.
You pick up the phone,
wanting help
when they answer,
you dont know what to say.
First time calling,
they tell you, you're not alone.
You hang up,
Then pick your razor up,
wondering, did the call really help?
Put the blade
against your skin
until more blood appears.
Letting it drip,drip,drip
you start to cry.
Don't know what to do?
And you dont know why?
Why you do it,
or what makes you.
Its an addiction
That needs to stop.
Sooner or later
something serious
will happen and then
for sure, its too late.
You cant turn back.
You've made your choice,
Escaped your problems now,
Dont have to worry,
Its all gone.
That day you said
"I will stop", maybe shouldve been true.
It might have saved a life.
But now your gone.
Gone for good.
Up with the angels
May be a better place, for you.
You've left friendz and family behind,
Sad and hurt.
But now you are happy.
No more blood or pain.
No more cutting,
Safer, happier,nicer
